Ruchi Kaushik did her M.Phil in English from Delhi University and is currently Associate Professor of English at Shri Ram College of
Commerce, Delhi University where she teaches business communication, language and literature. Her areas of interest include designing
language materials particularly in the blended learning mode, exploring communicative approaches to literature and gender studies.
Having participated in several blended learning workshops, she was one of the Delhi University delegates invited for an intensive training in Blended learning Methodology and Operations Workshop held at the Open University, Milton Keynes in the United Kingdom (9-13 June, 2008) under the UKIERI.

Subsequently she was involved in developing an Online Course on English Communication Skills as a collaborative venture between the Open University, U.K. and the University of Delhi. She has also designed a language skills module comprising fourteen lessons on Contemporary English, an anthology prescribed for Compulsory English Credit Language Course for B.A (Honours) I year students of Delhi University which is in the process of getting uploaded on the Delhi University e-portal. Actively invoved with the activities of FORTELL, she guest edited a special issue of the journal Fortell; on “E-learning” (September 2010). Presently she is guest editing the May 2011 issue of Fortell.
