Dr. Shefali Ray is an ELT consultant and a children’s writer.
She has been a student of Mother’s International School and
Lady Shri Ram College.
She has looked after the English Department at the State Council of Educational Research and Training,
New Delhi for 15 years. She has a long stint of teacher training as well as teaching school children. Currently she is a resource
person for the Oxford University Press, SCERT, IGNOU, University of Delhi, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan and other teacher
training institutes.

| Mrs. Ray has got over 49 books and ten scientific, national and international
papers to her credit. She has written school books for OUP, SCERT, CBSE and the
Jammu and Kashmir State Board. She also has developed ELT material for teachers
and for students of secondary, graduate and postgraduate levels for organizations
like IGNOU, SCERT, CBSE, NIOS, Government of Delhi and the NCERT.
